80 volunteers will be counting, sorting and packaging cards to be shipped to children worldwide.

• Location: West Loop Branch, Chicago Public Library, 122 N Aberdeen St, Chicago, IL 60607

• Parking: Street parking is available near the library.

• Afterparty: Lone Wolf Tavern, 806 W Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60607

30 volunteers will be assisting with the Snowshoe event. Roles will include time keeping, results recording, bullpen/escorting athletes to the start line, lunch, and awards.

Special instructions: We will be outside the entire time, so please dress for the winter weather. Please arrive promptly at 8:00 a.m. since VU volunteers will undergo training before the event begins at 9:00 a.m.

Join Volunteering Untapped for a spooky neighborhood scavenger hunt in the Loop!

Pack carts of food, bring food outside to clients, pack toiletry bags, stock shelves, and sort clothing donations with Care for Real.

Cut plastic bags to create plastic bag yarn, crochet sleeping mats for migrants and unhoused populations, and package mats for delivery.

45 volunteers weeded, shoveled, and cut shrubbery at Homan Rails Farm.

Volunteers picked up trash and cleaned the grounds of the Pullman National Historical Park with the Trash Trekkers. At the end of the event, volunteers became junior park rangers!

80 volunteers will assist with mulching 100 trees and picking up trash.

30 volunteers weeded the farm, cleaned up brush, composted, and moved mulch.

40 volunteers helped weed and clean the garden.

50 volunteers took part in counting and reviewing, sorting, and packaging cards, which will be sent to senior living facilities, schools, patients' homes, hospitals, foster homes, members of the military, and more.
